Selected biochemical investigations were performed in 53 stuttering children 
aged 5-12, and in control group of 22 clinically healthy, non-stuttering children aged 6-16.

Results indicated that the levels of bioelements (Calcium, Copper, Chromium, Magnesium, 
Manganese, Cobalt, Selenium, Molybdenum, Vanadium, Boron, and Lithium) 
were significantly lesser in the hair samples of stuttering group than the control group.
